Natural Resource Management

Sustainable land use, especially the sustainability of agricultural industries and mixed farming systems relies on the conservation and wise use of the natural resources, ecosystems, and landscapes underpinning the agricultural sector.

This program undertakes natural resource management (NRM) research and supports postgraduate training in a diverse range of environmental, agricultural production and regional development issues. The program also supports collaborative research in other TIAR research areas, such as vegetables, dairy, perennial horticulture, extensive agriculture and food safety.
